Chiropractic, Erchonia GVL, EVRL & XLR8 Laser Therapy
(LLLT 405 - 502- 635nm Frequencies)

Low Level Laser Therapy is a hands-off therapy used to treat soft tissue injuries. It is a cold laser meaning it is not heat producing and non-ionising (no heat, not cell alteration or damage). Cold laser helps to block pain, increase blood flow for healing, reduces inflammation, increase joint mobility and repairs cell damage helping to build more cells to heal the injured area e.g. bone bruising, bone fractures, nerve, muscle, tendon ligament healing. When laser photons are absorbed into the cell, the cell energy increases allowing the cell to heal. For the cell to energise to its optimum it requires Red, Ultraviolet and Green laser frequency. At Indygo Chiropractic we have a 3 lasers to give the best treatment outcomes.

Chiropractic care & LLLT are a great combination.

Neck Pain & Laser

The XLR8 Laser unit is great and helps with neck pain, spinal arthritis (spondylosis) neck sprains, pinched nerves, disc pain & herniated discs. Lasers can be used with rehab exercises to help strengthen the nerves & muscles to stabilise the joints.

We also have the EVRL Laser (Violet & Red combo which works best on the nervous system & has a antimicrobial affects which helps to destroy bacteria which can slow healing down, especially with disc injuries. The EVRL is best suited to stimmulate the nerves.

LLLT: Laser Research & Benefits of Laser Therapy

LLLT we use are Class 2; non-thermal. When looking at research on lasers remember not to be confused with research conducted with lasers that produce heat. The beauty of Erchonia Lasers are they do not damage cells as they do not produce heat.
